Terms of use agreement

Healthy Workplaces is a workplace wellness program developed by the Canadian Cancer Society, BC & Yukon (CCS-BCY) to improve employee health by providing support for employers to create a healthy workplace environment.

This page explains the terms by which you may use our services. By using or accessing the Healthy Workplaces website, you signify that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by this Terms of Use Agreement, whether or not you are a registered user of www.healthywork.ca.

We reserve the right to amend this agreement at any time without notice.

Healthy Workplaces grants you permission to use the website as set forth in this agreement.

User accounts

You will need to register with Healthy Workplaces and create an account in order to have access to the content of our modules and downloadable documents. You are responsible for the activity that occurs on your account, and you must keep your account password secure.

When creating your account, you must provide accurate and complete information. Information that we collect from users may include, but is not limited to, your name, business phone number, business email address and business postal addresses.

You agree that we can contact you in order to fulfill requests you may make to us and to conduct surveys seeking feedback. These surveys are used to improve our program and determine your use and satisfaction with the information on the Healthy Workplaces website. While aggregate information about survey results may be publicized, individual data from these surveys will not be shared with other organizations.

All registered users may review, update or correct the information provided in their registration by changing their Account Settings in their account. If you choose to opt out entirely, then your account will be deleted and your data will be removed. You will need to re-register should you decide to opt in again. To delete your account entirely, email support@wellnessfits.ca.

Further contact with the Canadian Cancer Society

The Canadian Cancer Society may contact you with further communications on a variety of topics. For example, we may contact you to keep you informed of activities including programs, services, special events, funding needs, and opportunities to volunteer or to donate to the Canadian Cancer Society.
