Mental health in the workplace

One in five Canadians will experience a mental illness this year. Stress, anxiety and depression are prevalent in many workplaces, and addressing mental health is beneficial for employers and employees alike. Employers can help build a psychologically healthy environment that promotes good mental health in the workplace. Over 70% of disability costs are attributed to mental illness, so building a supportive work environment can impact the bottom line. Good health is not possible without good mental health; take some time to review the available mental health resources and support your employees today.
